Practice Profile

Dudley Smith Partnership operates nationally and internationally from its offices in Chelmsford and Colchester. A proactive practice providing surveying and related services to a diverse range of clients in all sectors of public and private works. Our aim is to add value by increasing certainty and managing risk through our comprehensive, multi-skilled approach. Dudley Smith Partnership has nearly 50 years experience covering virtually all sectors of the construction industry. The practice is wholly owned and managed by the Directors, all of whom are Chartered Surveyors.

Dudley Smith Partnership has a staff complement of over 25 people, 4 of whom are Directors. All technical staff have either professional qualifications or are pursuing qualifications using the Practice’s RICS approved structured training programme. Dudley Smith Partnership prides itself on a ‘hands on’ approach by the firms Directors. A Director in Charge is designated as principal contact for each project, supported by a project surveyor and other professional/technical staff where appropriate. Good communication skills are the key feature of the Practice’s activities, adopting a non adversarial approach to construction procurement.
